Sky Residence

A true urban condition in the heart of historic Charleston, South Carolina. The contemporary design for a single family residence that floats atop an existing building wrapped in scrim that shifts patterns through it’s use. Split in two volumes, they speak of two different landscapes, typologies, functions and tectonics. A dual personality, responding to the specifics of the site and the aura of the sky.
