Renovation of an iconic storefront in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina into a two story restaurant and bar.  The previous tenant and owner, Taylor’s Pawn Shop, was staple on upper King Street for decades and the intent of the restoration was to reclaim the grandeur of the of the old (circa 1895) building.  It’s latest life adds to the character and history of the building which has been a pawn shop, furniture store, worker’s union, shoe store, and 4 different banks during it’s lifetime.
